Joe Pedals

Joe sells bespoke high end guitar pedals, I designed him a logo/character identity as well as plotting out the templates and structure of his new website, including viusal design, user journey and architecture. Joe then built the site himself using a custom CMS.

The biggest selling, most coveted pedals, are Fuzz pedals, also known as 'Tone Benders', originating in the 1960's, some of the most valuable coming from Italy (VOX) & the UK (Sola Sound), now fetching prices in excess of £2000. These were pretty basic circuits, the capacitors being the most sought after elements (Mullard OC75 etc), giving the character sound. Obviously there's more to it than that, but you get the idea. From this, the ident was based, electric fuzz, also resulting in Mr Capacitor.
